Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

Savoured the moment

Sleepover at Menorca's

It was Labor Day and a good break for me to visit Glean’s exquisite and placid home in Belair, at last! Chris went with me. Feje should have been with us but she’s too far and I’m certain she's enjoying Bora with friends and family. It also was a perfect time to catch up with each other. We cooked, hmm alright, Glean cooked then we ate hahaha (masabi lang na nasa kitchen kami). O sige na nga, I'm impressed. Don’t worry I won’t tell your secret ingredient, eww =p

Before that, Glean toured us inside and outside her home. La lang, tawa ako ng tawa cause I was thinking I do host sleepovers but I haven’t done that. There we were introduced with their dog sham, birds, and fishes, plants, and trees hahaha. Date nalang ang kulang, history na ang dating.

We met her parents who reminded me of my parents. I had this fancy thought that they’re stern and all but no, they are very warm and welcoming. Gelyn, her smarter than a fifth grader sister was there too. We watched TV while talking random stuff, tapos kain na naman ng dinner then watch ulit and due to wide variety of channels, we lost tracked of time. Glean told us it's eleven already, whaaat, so we headed to their room and watched Chocolat. Man, I don't have a sweet tooth but watching it together with sweet munchers, I am wowed! There’s a dance scene I remembered the sisters acted out which made us laugh on the floor (exag). I think we all liked the film. It’s worth your time.

Friday isn’t holiday so I took a last minute leave. Chris was the first one asleep. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!! She can’t absent from office kasi month-end daw pero naman she overslept. Hehehe. Buti nalang tricycle away lang ang Technopark from Belair. Still, half-day na cia. Ano na nga yung alibi mo???

Actually, I was awakened with my mom's call around 730. I promised her to be at home at 8 and there I was having a hard time opening my eyes. After ending the call, I slept again.

The finale, we got up almost lunchtime Sobrang naka-rest, refreshed talaga ako I had enough fun at sana maulit muli =)

I'm glad I have few but great friends I can surround myself with. I hope this is how it always will be.

Let me leave you this quote from Chocolat. (what a segue, lolz, we’re all struck with it)

I think that we can't go around... measuring our goodness by what we don't do. By what we deny ourselves, what we resist, and who we exclude. I think... we've got to measure goodness by what we embrace, what we create... and who we include.
