I am not yet what God intends me to be

...and so are you! You think you're perfect? Think again! *wink*

It is good keep in mind that each of us is still a work in progress, instead of seeking out the negative. The Bible says in Romans 2:1,

"Therefore you have no excuse, everyone of you who passes judgment, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things."

Ouch naman God, I repent! :)

How harmonious, transparent, and real our relationships would be if we have this perspective! When we see our bro or sis being sidetracked, let's not judge. Please don't judge me but gently correct and encourage me =) As Paul said, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds."

The amazing thing of having a relationship with God? We have a destiny! Doesn't matter how many times we commit mistakes, stumble, and fall short in what is expected. Again I quote, "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." ~ 2 Cor 3:18. Isn't this verse strikingly beautiful!?! I just love that, I am being transformed, you are being transformed!

We also have to understand that each life is priceless in God's view. Now is the time to widen our love for others just as we have received it easily. Instead if seeking the negative, let's seek out the best in others.

Of course we are not to be complacent having in mind that people will always understand our wrong actions, kaya nga work in progress. We have to assess ourselves kung may progress nga ba? At dapat meron!^_^

I'm in Awe!

Yesterday I left the office early, around 3pm. At mali na dahil may date ako. I went to UPLB. The last time I was there was during Feb Fair (excluding last March na sa Vega lang ako nakarating and last month when I took my yearbook kasi sa LB SQR lang yun hehe).

It was VCF LB's 18th anniversary! Again, it's one of the campus events where DL Umali Hall is flooded with people. For seven years, I'm blessed to be part of the celebration and I can say that every year it's getting more and more intense! I felt God's mighty presence the moment I stepped inside the hall. I'm still in awe, from the 'astig' praise and worship, Ptr Gilbert's transformational message, and just everything!

Leaving the hall, there are things instilled in my heart. It's true that if we want a transformed life, we have to give up our wants and let God's ways dominate. If we want to be great, then let's be better servants because that's what God revealed in his word. And if serving others is a hard work then let's look unto Jesus who himself submitted to the will of God.

Yey, 18 years of victory! More to come :)

** excited to post the pics **

I can't believe, today was the last time

I'm gonna flip my calendar, my beautiful and colorful calendar, for this year. It was a Christmas gift from one of my bosses. I actually have two, the other was given also last christmas. I love the former because each page contains a picture of a place in the Bible with a brief history about it. It also has a daily guide for you to read the Bible in one year. For that daily reading, it will highlight a verse that serves as food for the soul. :) I will miss this calendar! ^-^ Well, I still have a month to enjoy it. Have a great December everyone!
