i'm lost..

i'm lost here in multiply =P bago na pala, when was the last time i logged in? hmmm.. yun lang i'm still alive :)

what does being 24 supposed to feel like?

Two days ago I celebrated my birthday, yey! But do you know that since I had reached 23, I then felt the pressure getting old. I dunno, like I wanna stay 22 forever - not too young and not too old hehehe. Time flies pretty fast when you work. As I was unhappy getting another year older, this is what my friend eva told me, "grabe tumatanda na, pero lets still be thankful kasi aging signifies growth, not just numerically but emotionally as well, intellectually, spiritually and all, in preparation for the wedding banquet. so instead of moping about getting older, consider thanking Him for blessing you with another year.=)"
Of course I am so grateful to God, I am even moved by the abundunce of love I recieved each year!=D I guess all I need to do is to stay with people older to pull myself in this aging stupor hahahaha! But seriously, we aged but we get wiser too!

Oh i remember what i learned in college that women are most beautiful at the age of 24, hahaha yun lang! Well for me a man or woman can be beautiful at any age, and true beauty is found inside of you! yun naman!=P

2008 Highlights

Can you believe it's 2009? Boy I'm turning a year older! That's the first thing that comes in my mind, being birthed on the month of January.

Well before I move forward, I wanna look back, look back on the year that was - 2008! As that year nearly ended, people around me would hear me say "grabe ang bilis naman ng year na'to" because that's how I see it. Comparing it with 2006 and 2007, ang bilis talaga! Does that mean I'm accustomed to the "Real World"? Wala bang nangyari o madaming nangyari??

So, here's a brief backward glance on the things I am truly grateful for and the highlights of 2008.

• My year started and ended with wedding occasions. Wedding equals eternal love, yun naman! I was more than happy to have witnessed the union of Ronnie and Tricia, Jane and Mel, and Alvin and Brenda.
  

Who's gonna be next this year, I wonder.

• I went home for my birthday and being with my family is just the best gift to have! I learned how to make a balloon - thanks Chris! I had pala pre-celebration with Tina, babes and Camille, who visited me in San Pablo. And then post celebration at Serendra with my LG.

• I can say that this is also a year of "get togethers"

• My two aunties from Israel and my cousin who's from London went home here in the Philippines as well . Grabe namiss ko talaga sila! It's hard to live far from loved ones, that's why I'm very proud of their sacrifices for their families and for their future.

• First Time- It was my first time to attend a gig, Kitchie Nadal's gig pa! Thanks jehan, akalain mo nasa guest book pa ako hehehe.

• Family Bonding- We went to Tagaytay and Manila Oceanarium, ang lalayo noh grabe hahaha! What's important is the bonding while you travel and just being complete! Kwentuhang wala lang, tawanan, and then you get to share life's ups and downs.

• Work- Start of 2008, I was informed that I'll be moving from web programming to desktop application programming. I was surprised! I was happy and unhappy at the same time. I became very vocal to people close to me how I miss my previous teammates but they also reminded me that there's always a purpose why you are where you are and God's overflowing grace is always there to overcome new challenges! Then aside form our annual increase we had accross the board pay hike, so parang twice increase for this year! Thank you LORD!:D By February, wala na ang Saturday work. Eto yung for me the best na decision ng management hehe.

• It was an honor to be chosen as godparent to noah and janina.

• Ministry - By October, I started playing keyboard in our church, San Pablo Christian Reformed Church. Whoa, ako na talaga ang ate ngaun. I remember when I first joined the team, I was eleven or twelve and I don't call them ate kuya, but tito and tita. pero ngaun, oh well. I'm so blessed to see those young ones instead of malling or watching movies, they devote their times at practices!









• I lost my flashdisk and phone's memory card. My bracelet was stolen. My laptop fell from the table unintentionally -I'm not of course grateful about those but I'm happy because I'm learning how to let go and how to respond in a godly way.

• Drove a car - When my dad and kuya tells me to learn driving, I always refuse kasi sabi ko pag 18 na lang ako hanggang ewan ko ba hehehe at after 5 years natuloy. Excited daw ako kaya "fast learner" ..wushu. I'm not a pro, it will take years pero masaya ako dahil naka-stroll na ko in our subdivision at the first hour ng session =) So thanks to kuya dahil hindi mo pa ako nasigawan ever hehe.
  

• It was another year of giving- I have realized i had not gotten something extravagant for myself and i have no regrets. i share, i give and do i love to see those smiles on their faces! ang sarap ng feeling whether it's a small or big thing! :)

-Pati hindi na zero ang pagerank ng multiply ko hahaha! Thanks for the visitors wahehe feeling =p
-I cooked (really an accomplishment) and read books.

It was a great year indeed! I pray that this year would be more interesting, and I hope to have a greater and wider reach to help and touch more peoples' lives. I wanna be a better person *wink*

Napaka-abstract ata nun. Haha. Concrete plans, siguro sana more physical activities tsaka outdoor naman para iba, mala sports unlimited hehe. next time iisipin ko pa.
